PROTEST THE HERO Interviewed By Hungary's 'Kettngy' (Video)
October 29, 2011Hungarian metal magazine "Kettngy" conducted an interview with PROTEST THE HERO, the Canadian five-piece whose quirky humour and virtuoso playing has gained it a fevered following worldwide, when the band played in Budapest, Hungary earlier in the year with DARKEST HOUR. You can now watch the chat below.
PROTEST THE HERO will embark on a full headline European tour in February/March 2012 in support of its latest studio album, "Scurrilous", which released in March in North America via Vagrant Records.
After a successful spring tour of the U.S. and Canada followed by a one-off performance at the U.K. Sonisphere festival in July, this trek will see PROTEST THE HERO playing seven headline shows in the U.K. and Ireland, as well as dates in Germany, Austria, Holland and Belgium. Support on the dates will come from LONG DISTANCE CALLING, BLOOD COMMAND and UNEVEN STRUCTURE.
PROTEST THE HERO will unveil the second video from "Scurrilous" on November 1. "Hair-Trigger" featues guest vocalist Jadea Kelly and is the follow-up to the "C'est La Vie" clip.
Whereas "C'est La Vie" was full of twisted imagery and dark humour, "Hair-Trigger" sees the PROTEST THE HERO crew doing what they do best exploring the off-the-wall side of their respective personalities with no boundaries of logic or restraint to get in the way.
